Privacy policy

Last updated 30 July 2026

Echelon is a consulting and execution practice based in Morocco. This page explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We collect as little as we can, and we do not sell it.

Who is responsible

Echelon is responsible for the data described here. For anything on this page, write to contact@buildechelon.com.

What we collect

  • What you send us. If you complete Trace, our intake questionnaire, or write to us directly, we receive what you chose to put in it. That typically means your name, your email address, your company, and your description of the problem.
  • Correspondence. Emails and messages you send us, and our replies.
  • Basic technical data. When you load this site your browser sends an IP address and a user agent string, as it does to every website. We do not combine that with anything else or use it to build a profile of you.

What we do not collect

This site sets no advertising cookies, runs no third party analytics, and has no tracking pixels or social plugins. We do not buy contact lists and we do not enrich your record with data purchased from anyone else.

Why we hold it

  • To reply to you and to prepare for a first conversation.
  • To carry out an engagement you have asked us for.
  • To meet accounting and tax obligations where an engagement takes place.

Who else sees it

A small number of service providers process data on our behalf so that this practice can operate. Today that means our form provider, Tally, and our email and document provider, Google Workspace. They act on our instructions. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are deleted within twenty four months. Records connected to an engagement are kept for as long as the law requires us to keep them, and then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to contact@buildechelon.com and we will respond within thirty days. Under Moroccan law 09-08 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data, you may also complain to the CNDP. If you are in the European Union, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.

Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.

Echelon is in its foundation phase and is not yet registered as a legal entity. This page will be updated with the registered name, registration number and registered address once that registration is complete.
